Causes of global warming
The average temperature of the earth and its surrounding is rising. Humans are responsible for global warming. We must be mindful of the causes, effects, and complications to fight against this threatening issue. Global warming refers to the long-term warming of the planet’s temperature. The warming pace is increasing with the increase in population density. High population growth means the burning of large volumes of fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas. Combustion of fossil fuels generates greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, water vapor, methane, and nitrous oxide. These gases trap the heat reflected from the earth’s surface which causes the average global temperature to rise over time, otherwise known as global warming.
