6. Update Commands for Actions

/qed addaction Command Details

Description:  Add an action to a cause or a sub-cause (at any depth) in the Investigation Map of the current problem.  

Input:  /qed addaction

Output:  In the pop-up response you will see a drop-down selector to choose a cause, and details for the action you want to add for this cause.  

After you submit your command everyone in the channel will get a success message when the operation is completed. 

Example:

/qed editaction Command Details

Description:  Edit an action associated with a cause or a sub-cause (at any depth) in the Investigation Map of the current problem.  

Input:  /qed editaction

Output:   This command works in 2 steps. 

  1. First, you will need to select a cause from a drop-down selector.  
  2. Next, you will be able to select the specific action you want to edit, and you can update the various fields of this action, including the start time, due date and end date if the action has been completed.

After you submit your command everyone in the channel will get a success message when the operation is completed. 

Example:

/qed rmaction Command Details

Description:  Delete an action associated with a cause or a sub-cause (at any depth) in the Investigation Map of the current problem.  

Input:  /qed rmaction

Output:   This command works in 2 steps:

  1. First, you will need to select a cause from a drop-down selector.  
  2. Next, you will be able to select the specific action you want to delete.

After you submit your command everyone in the channel will get a success message when the operation is completed.
